Uses gentle heat through a thin catheter to close damaged veins from the inside. Takes about 20 minutes and is covered by most major insurance plans when medically necessary.

Compression stockings are effective year-round, though they can feel warm in summer. Lightweight, moisture-wicking medical-grade options are available. Many Sunnyslope patients wear them during morning activities and remove them during the hottest afternoon hours per their doctor’s guidance.
Treated veins do not reopen. However, new varicose veins can develop over time in patients with genetic predisposition or ongoing risk factors like prolonged standing. Regular follow-ups and healthy habits reduce this risk significantly.
