Yes. Our minimally invasive procedures use only local anesthesia and are well-tolerated by patients in their 70s, 80s, and beyond. There is no general anesthesia and no hospital stay. Our specialists have extensive experience treating older patients.

Chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) occurs when leg vein valves stop functioning properly, allowing blood to pool in the lower legs. Symptoms include persistent swelling, heaviness, skin discoloration, and in advanced cases, venous ulcers. CVI is the underlying cause of most varicose veins and can be diagnosed during a free ultrasound evaluation.
Compression stockings are typically worn during waking hours. Your specialist will recommend specific guidelines based on your condition. For mild symptoms, wearing them during extended standing or walking may be sufficient. For more advanced disease, daily wear is recommended.
